Matte White Ceramic | Hand-Hewn Texture
The Tava Cylinder Vase presents an arresting interplay of form and surface. Its simple cylindrical profile is transformed by hewn-style texturing that looks hand-carved, lending it an organic, tactile presence reminiscent of studio pottery. The crafted irregularities suggest depth of character and artisanal authenticity, making it feel like a unique find.
The matte white finish catches natural and ambient light in subtle variations, creating ever-changing visual depth throughout the day. This allows the textured form to take center stage, whether displayed as a standalone sculptural object or filled with dried grasses and botanical stems.
The design balances modern minimalism with weathered, stoneware-inspired detailing that sits comfortably in both urban and countryside settings. It pairs beautifully with diverse décor schemes—from pared-back neutrals to richly accented color palettes—and complements soft florals as readily as bold sculptural stems.
Styling Notes:
Group with other white ceramics in varying heights for a "tone on tone" layered look that feels curated and cohesive. Pairs beautifully with matte-finished accessories, natural fiber textures, or metallic accents. Works year-round with seasonal stems or displayed empty to let the hand-hewn texture speak for itself.
Versatile Use: Perfect for dried botanicals, fresh-cut stems, or as a sculptural accent on shelves, mantels, or console tables.
Care: Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. The hewn texture is intentional—embrace the artisanal irregularities. Not watertight.
